If you are going to
visit San Diego, California, you’d better not miss the city’s most exciting wine tours. In the Temecula Valley, about 60 miles from San Diego downtown, there are some world famous wineries. It is
said that there are 21 vineyards in the valley. These wineries bring thousands of visitors to San Diego every year. And the winemakers host various award-winning events all the year around. It is
intriguing to spend the whole day exploring the vineyards to have a memorable wine tour.
If you arrive at the vineyard in January, you have the chance to taste the wine from the barrels. Each year in March and May, there will be a wine tasting event where you can taste from a
collection of over hundred distinctive forms of wines from different parts of the US. You can get touch with the finest wines after the introduction of winemakers. Besides, if you want to buy
bottles of wine, you can enjoy discounted prices. There are some funny contests in which visitors will get prizes and gift vouchers as long as they answer the best questions.
The Winemakers’ Gold Dinner takes place in July. All participants in the dinner are allowed to speak out their opinion about the best dishes that should be served with the wines. You can also
make use of this opportunity to know how green grapes change into high-quality wines.
If condition permitted, you can travel to the valley in a small shuttle. It must be enjoyable. After visiting the vineyards and wineries, you can enjoy lunch at one of the wineries with the wine
that selected by you. Before the end of the tour, a sunset barbecue is prepared for the guests who are organized by the authority. At the same time, if you want to make your trip more memorable,
you can have a hot balloon tour from the vineyards.
