Balboa Park: There are fifteen museums, many gardens and arts and international culture associations set here, which make it a historical, horticultural, recreational and educational destination for approximately 14 million tourists from home and abroad annually. There are also several ethnic institutions here reflecting cultural diversity of the city. The botanical garden inside the park is home to over 2,000 plants, not to mention San Diego Zoo, which houses thousands of species of animals. USS Midway Museum: The USS Midway is an aircraft carrier which has served the United States for a long time, longer than any other aircraft carriers. You will be shown many of its working areas and how aircrafts land and take off from it.

Pacific Surf School: You don't come to San Diego just to see, but to do something as well. Taking some time to learn to surf with family members is of great fun and deserves a try. Kids will be amazed with surfing with instructors telling the do's and don's. If you don't want to do that, you can watch your family members on the beach. The beach is pretty comfortable.
